Express Your Passion for Beer with Burnley’s Newest Brew!

As the weather warms, it’s only fitting that beer-lovers everywhere begin to favour light, fruity flavours. Even the most die-hard stout or porter enthusiasts surely can’t deny the far more thirst-quenching satisfaction of a fresh and sessionable pale ale, IPA or sour for the summer months.

Burnley’s latest fruit-forward beer release, the Passionfruit Berliner Weisse, fits the bill as a low-alcohol, easy-to-drink warm-weather beer with hits of tropical fruit flavour. Rather than hide the passionfruit amidst an overload of hops or other additives, the intention of this beer was to highlight the native Australian fruit in all it’s glory.

The result is a cloudy sour – The first ever created by Burnley, but certainly not the last. As Berliner Weisse varieties tend to pair nicely with fish and shellfish, this beer would be wonderful with our house-made Seafood Linguini. But watch out, because while the linguni is always on offer, our Weisse will only be available for a limited time, and it’s going fast!

Visit us any day of the week to give it a try. Cheers!
